Last updated 19 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Lahat Creative collects through lahatcreative.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email chat@lahatcreative.com.

Who we are

Lahat Creative is a marketing, PR and events agency based at Guildford Plaza, Bury Street, Guildford, Surrey GU2 4BH. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about your data at chat@lahatcreative.com.

What we collect and why

When you contact us. If you fill in a form on this website, email us or book a call, we collect your name, email address and anything you choose to tell us, such as your company, the service you are interested in and your message. We use this to reply to you, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and to keep a record of our conversation. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

When you book a call. Bookings are made through Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email address, the time you choose and any answers you give, and shares them with us so we can hold the call on Google Meet.

When you work with us. If you become a client, we keep the contact details and project information we need to deliver our services, send invoices and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Our legal basis is the contract between us and our legal obligations.

When you apply to work with us. If you send us your details as a freelancer, supplier or job seeker, we use them to consider working with you.

When you browse this website. With your consent, we use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read and how people found us. See the cookies section below.

Cookies and analytics

Our website runs on Squarespace. Squarespace sets some cookies that are needed for the site to work and to keep it secure. These are always on.

With your consent, we also use:

  • Google Analytics 4, to measure visits, page views and enquiries in aggregate.

  • Squarespace Analytics, for visitor and traffic reports inside our website platform.

  • Metricool, to measure visits that come from our social media posts.

You can accept or decline these cookies in the cookie banner when you first visit, and change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link on the site. Declining does not stop the site from working.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business, who may only use it to provide their service to us:

  • Squarespace (website hosting and forms)

  • Google (email, calendar, video calls and Google Analytics)

  • Calendly (call bookings)

  • Metricool (social media and website analytics)

  • Notion (our internal project and enquiry records)

Some of these providers store information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by contractual safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as our accountant.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months, then deleted.

  • Client records and invoices: six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as required for tax and accounting.

  • Freelancer and supplier introductions: up to 24 months, unless we work together.

  • Analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation. Where we rely on your consent, such as for analytics cookies, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email chat@lahatcreative.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
